WHO WE ARE
Here at Wag and Bone, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2019, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. We are small team of determined foster moms and dads, changing the world one dog at time. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
WHAT WE DO
Helping pooches is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to rescue and later adopt out dogs who are down on their luck and to provide high quality spay/neuter resources to our community. Our success isn’t measured in terms of numbers of volume, but by the quality of homes that our pups get, ensuring a lifetime of happiness that they so deserve.
RESCUE
We pull dogs from high kill shelters, off the streets, and take in owner surrenders. With limited resources, our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Each dog is then evaluated and full vetted prior to adoption, including heartworm treatment, orthopedic surgeries, and whatever else is needed. ADOPTION
At Wag and Bone, we are dedicated to providing the best quality of life for our dogs as possible. This is by no means an easy feat, but through extensive vet care and amazing foster homes, we are able to get these neglected dogs healthy again. We work to find experienced and dedicated dog owners to give these pups a forever home. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
OUTREACH
With this initiative, our goal is to prevent surrender of dogs to rescue or shelters and keep them in their homes. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We provide dog food, assist with vetting for owned dogs, and training/behavioral guidance to intercept owner surrenders and keep dogs with the people who love them.
